Hubei Xingrui Silicon Integrated Organosilicon Industrial Layout

Hubei Xingrui Silicon Materials operates an 800,000 tons per annum organosilicon monomer production facility. It has completed supporting downstream production lines covering diversified silicone derivatives, including aerogels, 107 silicone rubber, 110 silicone rubber, methyl silicone oil, vinyl silicone oil, functional silicone oil, liquid silicone rubber, photovoltaic structural adhesives, silicone foaming adhesives and light diffusing agents. The company has built a technologically advanced, full-chain organosilicon industrial cluster with complete upstream and downstream matching facilities.

2200 TPA Continuous Microcapsule Core Production Line

Hubei Xingrui Silicon’s 2,200 tons per annum microcapsule project boasts the largest output and highest technical specifications among domestic continuous microcapsule production lines. The first-phase construction was fully completed in March 2023. Adopting high-precision molecular synthesis technology, the line encapsulates diversified functional core materials inside micron-scale polymer thin-film shells. It supports continuous mass production of five major microcapsule products in emulsion and powder forms: phase change, fragrance, thermochromic/photochromic and curing agent microcapsules.

Detailed Specifications of Five Core Microcapsule Products

1. Anionic Formaldehyde-Free Phase Change Microcapsules

Product Features: This type of micro-nano capsule takes phase change materials as inner core and polymer composite films as outer shell. It contains zero free formaldehyde, delivers excellent compressive resistance and low supercooling performance. It is widely applied in wet textile spinning, textile post-finishing, building envelope energy conservation and electronic component thermal management scenarios.

Technical Indicators: Anionic homogeneous suspension liquid; zero formaldehyde; solid content ≥40%; D90 particle size ≤4.0μm; phase change enthalpy ≥165J/g; supercooling degree ≤7.0℃; compressive strength ≥2.0MPa.

2. Non-Ionic Formaldehyde-Free Phase Change Microcapsules

Product Features: Produced via exclusive targeted encapsulation process, this non-ionic microcapsule has outstanding additive compatibility, which can be compounded with anionic, cationic and neutral auxiliary chemicals. It retains zero formaldehyde, high thermal enthalpy, strong pressure resistance and low supercooling, matching the same application scenarios as anionic phase change microcapsules.

Technical Indicators: Non-ionic homogeneous suspension liquid; zero formaldehyde; solid content ≥40%; D90 particle size ≤4.0μm; phase change enthalpy ≥170J/g; supercooling degree ≤7.0℃; compressive strength ≥2.0MPa.

3. Fragrance Slow-Release Microcapsules

Product Features: Natural and synthetic polymer shell materials encapsulate plant essential oils and synthetic fragrances. After attaching to textile and paper surfaces, the capsules release fragrance via friction stimulation and maintain long-term slow-release aroma. Typical application scenarios include daily chemical washing products, household textiles, disposable tissue and indoor home decoration for immersive olfactory experience.

Technical Indicators: Homogeneous suspension liquid; solid content ≥35%; D90 particle size ≤40μm.

4. Reversible Color-Changing Microcapsules

Product Features: The encapsulated color-changing functional materials realize reversible color shift triggered by temperature fluctuation or light irradiation. It is used for intelligent anti-counterfeiting, cultural and creative supplies, and intelligent packaging, such as temperature-sensitive drinking cups, photo-induced color-changing ink and anti-counterfeiting labels.

Technical Indicators: Dry powder form; solid content 99±1%; D90 particle size ≤8.0μm; fineness ≤30μm; compressive strength ≥4.0MPa.

5. One-Component Curing Agent Microcapsules

Product Features: Physical encapsulation isolates active curing agents including epoxy, polyurethane and acrylic curing agents, ensuring chemical stability with resin substrates during long-term storage. Capsules break under external heat or pressure to release curing agents, enabling simplified one-component glue construction and supporting self-healing coating and structural adhesive manufacturing.

Technical Indicators: Homogeneous suspension liquid; zero formaldehyde; solid content ≥60%; D90 particle size ≤50μm.
